A multi-function eco-friendly building extension with movable stage

Commissioned by Vincent Brown, one of York’s leading architects, this 12 month process and build project required us to create a 170 sq m timber-clad multi-function space for a wide range of users, including the under 5s group and WI. The project involved groundworks, M & E installations, bespoke joinery, roofing, partitioning walls, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, full decoration and the design and installation of a movable stage.

We partnered with Go Eco, who provided sustainable heating and solar power, and also worked in close collaboration with local neighbours to ensure a smooth and hassle-free construction process, given that access to the site was via adjoining properties.
