A modern retail space for a big name in active leisure footwear

York-based footwear brand Pavers has a network of shops across the UK and Ireland, with a distinctive look and feel that reflects their modern take on easy-going footwear. Over 20 years we’ve worked on the refit/redesign of over 600 of their retail outlets.

While there’s a very clear Pavers brand look, there’s a wide range of units from which they operate so the challenge is to create store environments with a strong family resemblance, while working within the parameters of each site and its individual layout and configuration.

Another key operational challenge is to ensure that the agreed design and fit out creates minimum disruption to both staff and customers, so we work in close partnership with Pavers’ senior management team to deliver design solutions within tight delivery timeframes and budget.

Pavers, Junction 5 Retail Park, Doncaster

In this full shop refurbishment project we worked on M & E installations, including new LED lighting, air conditioning, suspended ceilings, flooring, full decoration, external soffits and signage. Working to a tight schedule, we had to strip out existing shop fittings, install new floors, stud wall partitioning and bespoke joinery.

Pavers Hornsea, Sigglesthorne Garden Centre

During a very tight 6 week consultation and build process, we were commissioned to create a new store within their garden centre, the key aim being to create more visibility into the shop from the existing garden centre.
